The White Storks

Poland is European capital of white stork. Every year about 50 thousand couples of 160 thousand in the whole world come to our country. The majority of Polish storks live in valleys and backwater of Warmia, Mazury and Podlasie. The white stork is a protected bird. It is completely white except for the black wing flight feathers, and its red bill and legs.

Also, on our site is The Podlskie White Stork Trail, which is one of the oldest brand tourist products in Poland. It’s perfectly for tourists who like active touring. The Podlasie White Stork Trail belongs to the Central and Eastern European Greenways network.
